Talk about a supergroup! As Shania twain getting ready to go back to her Las Vegas residence and start working on new music, she says she wouldn’t mind forming a band with other superstars Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
“My goal is to make a threesome with them,” Shania explains to AND online. “When I think of Blake and Gwen, I think of the trio vocals.”
Of course, Gwen and Blake aren’t just partners on hit duets like “Happy Anywhere” and “Nobody But You” – they’re engaged as well, with a wedding date just around the corner. Shania goes on to say that choosing a wedding gift for the celebrity couple will require navigating their very different personalities.
“I have to send something very crisscross, because… like, she’s glamorous, and he’s plaid and in jeans,” Shania says.
As for her own year ahead, Shania Let’s go! Las Vegas shows resume in December, and she alluded to on a recent episode of her Apple Music Home now radio show in which she would also like to release a new album around this time.
“I plan to release this album before Christmas. Wouldn’t it be great fun to release this for Christmas? I would love this so much. So that’s my goal, ”Shania explained, but warned fans to“ be patient ”as she works hard to perfect the music.
“I want to give you something that you can really be proud of as a Shania fan,” she emphasizes. “… I’m definitely on a mission to make the best album I’ve ever made.”
