Vaccination cards at Pearl Jam lounges? Jeff Ament is not sure
Pearl Jam will only be back on the road in 2022 after interrupting his tour last year for security reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic. But considering the first concerts of rockers, bassist Jeff Ament is not sure to have concerts where vaccination records are mandatory.

He added the group’s plans for the future: “We have a few things in pencil for next year. [COVID-19] variant and whatever’s going on with the vaccinations and all that, hopefully we’ve come a long way. It feels like we’re still teetering on the edge of this thing. If we come to a turning point, let’s hope we reach the end of winter, the beginning of spring with a tour, or a stopover, at least. We can’t wait to do it. And most of the shows that we have to make up – the two stages, the European stage and the American stage – most of these shows, they’re inside. “
Pearl Jam fans eager to see the band perform live can choose from many past gigs in the band’s new digital concert archive called Deep. But for now, it’s clear the group are waiting for the photo of the coronavirus to become clearer before resuming their postponed 2020 tour of the United States.
“I don’t know if I want to go out and do 30 shows where you check immunization cards,” Ament said. “I hope we can be smart enough to, once again, take a turn and by March we will switch, and everyone can feel good traveling and bringing 20,000 people in. [a venue]. “
