The Toronto trio’s new EP is available today via Paper Bag Records

Marking the group’s first collection since 2017 The wildthe six-song EP follows the February release of two new singles, “CANDU” and “AB Bride”, the former named after the abandoned high school of Edenloff’s mother’s uncle’s post in the mining town of Uranium City, SK.
The new single “3 Sisters” attempts to harness the feeling of “speeding down the highway toward another show in another place,” according to a press release, and articulates the struggle to find stillness at the amidst the chaotic pace of life and put down roots in the moment.
Elsewhere, the RAA switches between dreamlike appearances on “10 Feet Tall” and the bone-deep viscerality of tracks like “Lifetime” and the chilling surprise of “Late September Snow.”
“We just rely on the heart and the guts, and try to let our minds wander,” singer Edenloff explained in a statement, “because more often than not, those trip us up.”
And the band uses its own experiential stumbles far more to take listeners on a journey with the winding roads of their songs – steadily winding through mountain towns and scraping through folk-tinged valleys.
