SARATOGA SPRINGS – On November 13, spectators are welcomed at Cafe Lena to enjoy a robust evening of rock from the heart of two prolific songwriters, Will Hoge and dave hause. Both musicians are currently on tour in support of their respective new albums, Wings on my shoes and blood harmony.
Will Hoge is a pillar of 21st century rock & roll, carrying the torch of a blue-collar sound rooted in Telecaster guitars and songwriting anthems. He makes music for roadhouses and rallies, for car radios and dive-bar jukeboxes, for Saturday night hells and Sunday morning comedowns. At a time when social media influencers are looking to fast-track their way to fame, Hoge has proudly come the long way, dedicating himself not to the destination, but to the journey itself.
With a sound rooted in American punk and rugged rock from the heart, singer/songwriter Dave Hause has spent two decades building up a solid catalog both as a solo artist and as the frontman of the mid-century punk band. 2000s, The Loved Ones. When the band broke up, Hause continued his fledgling solo career, combining American tones and social lyrics with a punk spirit on albums like 2017’s. Bury me in Philadelphia and 2019 Kick, both of whom benefited from the help of his musician brother Tim Hause. His last album, blood harmonyis an ode to his musical relationship with his brother and the importance of family.
