Outpost in the Burbs will host Fantastic Cat, a “supergroup” made up of four singer-songwriters – Anthony D’Amato, Brian Dunne, Don DiLego and Mike Montali (Hollis Brown) – on Saturday, December 11.
This concert will take place at the First Congregational Church, 40 S. Fullerton
Avenue, at 8 p.m.
The four songwriters have joined forces to record their debut album, “The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat,” with a mix of genres and decades, according to a press release from Outpost in the Burbs. The music includes 1960s folk, 1970s AM radio gold, 1980s country rock and 1990s alternative country, the release said.
The album “balances painstaking craftsmanship and ecstatic abandon in equal measure, a raw and intoxicating collection captured live in the moment and fueled by the chemistry of four longtime friends who make music for the pure. fun, ”the statement said.
Tickets for these shows are on sale now and can be purchased through TicketLeap on the Outpost in the Burbs website, outpostintheburbs.org.
To enter, each customer must present a completed vaccination record (dated at least 14 days before the show). A photocopy, a photo on your phone, proof via the DOCKET or Excelsior Pass application will be accepted. A negative COVID test will not be accepted for entry. Masks must be worn at all times during the performance, and unvaccinated children of any age will not be permitted to attend.
