A record on BillboardAlternative Songs’s alternate song distribution chart was rightly shattered by a song titled “Broken”.
Lovelytheband’s “Broken” becomes the longest song in three decades of chart history, spending its 66th week on the list (dated March 2). He claims the “Savior” brand of Rise Against, which recorded 65 images from July 2009 to September 2010 and held the record for more than eight years.
Unlike “Savior”, which peaked at No. 3 in his race, “Broken” had nine weeks at No. 1, starting last April. Her 66-week chart streak even outlasted the entire series from her follow-up single, “These Are My Friends,” which peaked at No. 10 in December 2018. A third single, “Maybe. be, I’m afraid ”, this week goes up 34-32.
“Broken” accomplishes what the recent comrades of Cold War Kids, pillars of alternative song, could not; the “First” of the group stopped at 64 weeks in the ranking, one before “Savior” in July 2016.
