Brunswick-based singer-songwriter Jud Caswell will be doing his part to warm you up as part of the Kill the Chill concert series in Bath. His latest track, “The Great Divide,” was released in the fall and is all about finding common ground in a hellish political landscape. Two years ago, Caswell released the album “Live at the Seagull Shop Restaurant” which reached No. 1 on the Folk Alliance International chart. Caswell has also been hugely prolific for several months of the pandemic with his live “Morning Cordial” performances of originals and Facebook covers. In total, he has recorded 149. He is the real deal.

Alternative country actor Clem Snide last year released a cover of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” with a much slower tempo and simple acoustic arrangement. Swoon! Then there’s 2020 album “Forever Just Beyond,” which opens with the poignant track “Roger Ebert” and ends with the charming “Some Ghost.” The album, BTW, was produced by Scott Avett of the Avett Brothers. Clem Snide is the nickname of singer-songwriter Eef Barzelay, borrowed from the character of William S. Borroughs. Clem Snide’s discography dates back to the late 90s, so there will be plenty of tracks to choose from.
