Kings of Leon, The Lumineers, Cold War Kids playing Big Snow Show
After canceling plans for 2020 – like almost everyone else – Milwaukee’s alternative rock station WLUM-FM (102.1) is bringing back its Big Snow Show in 2021.
And this 15th series of concerts will indeed be great.
Kings of Leon – who last performed in Milwaukee as the headliner of the Summerfest Marcus Amphitheater in 2015 – will perform at the Big Snow Show on December 9, with the Wilderado group at the opening.
The Lumineers – who performed the last concert in the Milwaukee arena before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down live music, March 11, 2020 – will play Big Snow Show on December 14, with the opening of the alternative rock band Cold War Kids.
Both shows will require guests to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination (with the second dose administered at least 14 days before) or a negative COVID-19 test (done within 72 hours of the show) to enter.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at therave.com. Presales begin Thursday, with 102.1 ticket distributions throughout the week. Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
Piet also talks about concerts, local music and more on “TAP’d In” with Evan Rytlewski. Listen to it at 8 p.m. Thursdays on WYMS-FM (88.9) or wherever you get your podcasts.
