

Indie-rock band Tokyo Police Club will perform at the Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan on Friday, November 19. Doors to the show open at 7:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 p.m. The show will feature Canadian punk rock band NOBRO as the opening act.
Founded in Ontario, Canada, Tokyo Police Club has been a constant facet of the indie-rock scene since their debut album, elephant shellin 2008. Their light, slightly offbeat sound is distinctive and easy to listen to, making them an alternative reference for festivals and soundtracks.
The Tokyo Police Club recently released the 10 Year Anniversary Deluxe version of their 2011 album, champion. The new release features an acoustic version of “Bambi”, previously unreleased songs and remixes of their most popular singles.
NOBRO have made an impressive name for themselves in the Canadian punk-rock scene since forming in 2014. Their heavy bass and heartbreaking guitar are backed by drummer Sarah Dion and vocalist Kathryn McCaughey.
