Their first EP 2021 Consider the backfires, came up with such an effortlessly cool style with sleek guitar solos and impeccable drum beats. Today they will make you miss bands like The Arctic Monkeys or The Strokes with the release of their new single, “Song 55”.
The Backfires call this track their “middle finger of hyper-commercialization of creativity”. And they’re absolutely right, because this song is anything but ordinary. Stopped with a scorching guitar, the track turns into a melodious and high-energy song. It’s so easy to feel like you’re already at one of their shows. You can practically hear the crowd singing along and feel the mosh pit forming with the track’s pounding outro.

The band said exclusively, “When we wrote the song, we were all distant and it took a few Zoom calls to figure it out. People we knew were starting to work and telling us things like ‘when are you going to find a real job?” He got old really fast, so we wrote this song for them to butt heads on the way home from work.”
