Free summer concerts return to McGraft Park in Muskegon
MUSKEGON, MI – After a summer break, free concerts at McGraft Park in Muskegon will return starting in June.
The McGraft Park Summer Concert Series begins with the Scottville Clown Band on June 22 and ends in late August.
The park is located at 2204 Wickham Dr., on the corner of Glen Avenue.
Here is the 2021 range:
June 22, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Scottville Clown Band – Musicians dress up as clowns and perform crazy antics.
July 13, 7 to 9 p.m., West Michigan Concert Winds – Classical Concert Orchestra.
July 20, 7 to 9 p.m. Carl Webb Band – Mix of American music, including rock, blues, jazz, country folk and Latin.
July 27, 7 to 9 p.m. Country Current – New country music.
August 5, 7-9 p.m., Westside Soul Surfers – Horn group that plays a bit of everything.
August 10, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Degrees don’t count – Popular songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.
August 17, 7 to 9 p.m. Irish Music All Stars – Pat Broaders, Pauline Connelly, Jimmy Keane and Laurence Nugent.
August 24, 7 pm-9pm “Pan” Franek, Zosia and the Polka Towners – Traditional Polish music.
August 31, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Legal Rehab – A variety of alumni, from the Rolling Stones to Bob Dylan to Jimmy Buffett.
