While her debut EP in 2020 found her Stuck in the sky, both in bi-coastal journeys and in a stagnant relationship, Maria Isabel’s follow-up project is more squarely on things. Born in Queens and based in Los Angeles, the Dominican-born singer-songwriter mixes honest and vulnerable R&B with Latin elements. I hope you are very unhappy without me explores the end of a fractured romance in vivid detail, with Isabel’s poetry background evident, whether she sings in English or Spanish.

Deb Never – Where have all the flowers gone

Yeat SZN is in full force. The Portland-based, California-raised rapper featured by Audiomack last month as one of 10 rappers you must know right now, follows up on co-signing with Drake a few weeks ago with a new mixtape. . His fourth project in five months and third out of 20 titles, Up to 2 Më, is another immersive mix of hypnotic rage rhythms and Auto-Tuned melodic drawl from Yeat.
